grayhaus is named in memory of Charcoal (a charcoal-gray rabbit boy). It was during their 5 years together where Tobi produced some of her best works. Charcoal left her on 9 January 2018.

With a track record that speaks for itself, the hands-on experience garnered from managing the whole spectrum of marketing in MNCs, SMEs and startups has enabled Tobi to strategise and tell brand stories across a variety of mediums. Her seasoned marketing background of 14 years has equipped her to stay on top of the latest trends in key industries from fashion, F&B, healthcare to I.T.

A combination of a tech junkie and a creative thinker, Tobi is the embodiment of two minds in one. Before grayhaus, she was the Marketing Director at COLLIN’S® and developed the brand proposal that propelled a double win at the Singapore Prestige Brand Award 2017 – Promising Brands & Most Popular Promising Brand in its first year of participation. She also spearheaded the winning proposal for the brand’s first foray into Changi Airport Terminal 3.

 

Prior to COLLIN’S®, Tobi was the Group Marketing & Communications Manager at Jay Gee Enterprises. The Group’s portfolio includes Aldo, Levi’s and Holland & Barrett. She led its first eCommerce initiative and infrastructure revamp and was responsible for its loyalty card program that has garnered over 10 million dollars of sales revenue during her tenure. Before Jay Gee, she was the Business Manager of OpenRice.com Singapore – Asia’s No. 1 dining review website with over 2 million monthly unique visitors – helming its Marketing and Business Development portfolios.

Today, Tobi’s focus continues to be on strategy, marketing and number crunching. She firmly believes in partnerships that are fuelled by an ambition for growth and openness to change.
